I would eat here more often if I lived closer. Small diner. Decent coffee. Endless refills. Pleasant staff. Quality food. Makes for a good small town hang out.

Excellent Breakfast! Great food, good service, good value. It was a busy Saturday, and there was a line out the door with a 20 minute wait for a table of five. Our first time here we had the biscuits and gravy, corned beef hash, portabelo and Swiss omelette, and a pancake with bananas and chocolate chips. The biscuits and gravy full order covered the whole large plate. The gravy was very good and the biscuits were just right, homemade I believe. The omelette was just ok nothing special. But the cinnamon roll… it was huge and delicious! That alone is worth the wait. The pancake was also the size of the plate and it was thick and fluffy. I took half a biscuit and gravy home for leftovers as well as half my corned beef hash, which was a large portion for a side order and worth the price. Server was friendly but busy not very attentive. Overall I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area.

Came in Sunday morning to a very crowded restaurant but luckily there was one table for us. The menu is pretty extensive and I love the fact you can order one piece of french toast, which I did. The french toast I ordered with the homemade bread. You can definitely tell it's homemade bread, yeasty and thick. I would have preferred the bread be soaked a bit longer in the egg but it was very good. Hubby ordered the sunrise burger and the egg was wonderful. The burger had a delicious taste as well. The potatoes were ordered crispy and they came crispy. My sister ordered the skillet and that too was delicious. Everything came out hot. As I mentioned they were pretty busy so our waitress did a good job of checking on us. We walked here so not sure about parking and for the three of us we spent $40 (without tip). Good place to grab some breakfast!

This is a great little dinner in a cozy little town. We ate breakfast and all of our food was great. Pretty fast service and even better food. The staff was very pleasant and seemed to know everyone. Probably the small town affect, but felt nice.

This past weekend my husband and I visited the South Arm Cafe in East Jordan. It was a wonderful breakfast experience, we had the same waitress both times and she was very kind. The food was amazing, I had a vegetarian breakfast omelet with a side of bacon both times and everything was so fresh. The bacon was delicious, thick and somewhat crispy, perfectly cooked! The Cinnamon roll was AMAZING! The diner had a home town feel great food and great people! We will definitely be taking the hour and a half drive just to have breakfast here again!

This was the absolute BEST food I've had in quite some time! You can tell everything is homemade down to the lemonade! I had a patty melt which was not greasy, crispy marble bread. PHENOMENAL! Did I mention the potato cheddar soup, OMG! I wanted to bring a vat of it home! The mashed potatoes and gravy even. The flavor was insane, not to mention that give you a lot of gravy which is greatly appreciated! Service was impeccable! Who do I have to beg to build a franchise close to my home!? Thanks for a fantastic meal!!

My wife loved the Iron Skillet. I had the biscuits and gravy, so good. The biscuit was huge and the gravy plentiful. Our waitress was fun and helpful. That homemade cinnamon toast was delicious. Most definitely, we will stop by any time we're in the area.
